Ellie Rose MA, LMHC, NCC

Ellie is a psychotherapist in Vancouver, WA who works with individuals, couples, families, and organizations. Like M. Scott Peck, she believes that “Mental health is an ongoing dedication to reality at all costs.” This shows up in her practice as a very direct but compassionate presence ready and willing to walk with you through whatever is feeling out of balance in your life.

As an existential therapist first and foremost—the dignity and meaning you have as an individual person is paramount to me. Sessions take a whole-person approach in order to explore the competing tensions that come with being human. Through our work, you have the opportunity to achieve mental clarity, strategize with existing strengths you have, and repair relationship ruptures. In working with couples, the goal is to help hurting people to reconnect, communicate and ultimately trust each other again. At the end of the day, journeying through this life can be extremely hard. And finding the right therapist for you can help lighten the load just a bit.

Ellie has a MA from the University of the Cumberlands in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and a BA from Washington State University in Social Sciences. She is a National Certified Counselor and registered FOCCUS facilitator for engaged couples. Outside of the office, Ellie enjoys reading, writing and haunting the wild spaces of the Pacific Northwest alone and with her family.
